The Jesse Blancarte 10K Time Trial is a USA Cycling-sanctioned event sponsored by BRBC. The event was named in honor of long-time club members Jesse Blancarte and Scott Smith who died of natural causes while biking on local roadways.

The time trial began in the mid-1990's using the old Missouri 210 Highway along the Missouri River east of I-435 towards Richmond. It was relocated to its current location in Gardner, Kansas for over 15 years. Through the efforts of our race promoter, the race is eligible for KBAR/KBAT points.
